Code of Conduct
Code of Conduct
DataCraft Kaunas is dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, or technology choices.
Expected behaviour
- Be kind and respectful to fellow attendees, speakers, and organisers.
- Assume good intent; give people the benefit of the doubt.
- Listen actively during talks; keep side conversations quiet.
- Respect the venue and leave your spot as you found it.
Unacceptable behaviour
We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Unacceptable behaviour includes, but is not limited to:
- Offensive comments related to identity, background, or appearance.
- Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or unwanted following.
- Unwanted photography or recording of individuals.
- Sustained disruption of talks or other events.
- Inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention.
Reporting
If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, or have any other concerns, please contact an organiser immediately — we are identifiable by name tags at events. You can also reach us at hello@griaustinis.lt before, during, or after any event.
All reports are treated confidentially. We will never share your identity with the person you report without your explicit consent.
Consequences
Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behaviour is expected to comply immediately. Organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including removal from the event and a permanent ban from future events, without refund where applicable.
Scope
This Code of Conduct applies to all DataCraft Kaunas spaces — the venue, online channels, and social media — as well as related social events.
Based on the Berlin Code of Conduct. Last updated May 2026.
