Recording Policy

Recording policy

DataCraft Kaunas records sessions to make knowledge accessible to people who could not attend in person and to build a lasting archive of the community's work.

What we record

  • The presenter's slides and voice.
  • Questions from the audience during Q&A (where audible).

We do not record hallway conversations, networking, or lightning-round Q&A.

Where recordings are published

Edited recordings are published on the DataCraft Kaunas YouTube channel, typically within two weeks of the event. Links are also posted on event pages on this website.

Speaker consent

By confirming a speaking slot, speakers consent to their session being recorded and published. If you need to opt out, contact us at hello@griaustinis.lt at least 48 hours before the event. We will honour all opt-out requests without question.

Audience members

Attendees in the audience may appear in recordings. Wide-angle room shots are occasionally used as b-roll. If you do not wish to appear on camera, seats outside the main camera frame are available — organisers will indicate these at the start of the event.

Photography

Event photos are taken at most events and shared under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) licence. Photographer credits appear alongside published photos. To request removal of a specific photo, email hello@griaustinis.lt.

Takedown requests

To request removal of a published recording or photo, email hello@griaustinis.lt with the subject line Takedown request. We aim to process all requests within five business days.
